«I grew up in Antibes and moved to Paris to join the Paris Opera School and never left» one life that revolves around dancing
I was born in Cannes, south of France. The unique beauty and architecture of Paris give me a lot of energy and also my friends that I love and of course French wine. I live now in the 3rd district, Le Marais. I grew up in Antibes and moved to Paris to join the Paris opera school and never left since. I studied in the Paris opera school and left when I was 18 year-old to join the company. I am a professional ballet dancer. As a young boy, a lot of dancers were a big inspiration like Sylvie Guillem and Nicolas Leriche ans also Rudol’f Nureev as well was the choreographers like Pina Bausch, Cristal Pite, J. Killian, Mats Ek. I didn’t have the chance to meet Rudol’f Nureev but I have danced his ballets that are a beautiful gift that he left for Paris opera ballet. His ballets are challenging in a positive way for us to do partnering and difficult techniques in a group work. Pina Bausch on the other side I was luck to have met her and have worked with her.
She was a very impressive and humble figure, very generous and demanding. She wanted us to feel every step and dance with our own personalities and hearts. I discovered a lot of myself within her works. When I am on stage, I feel freedom and happiness. I must take care of my body and listen to what it needs to keep going and avoid injury. I have entire awareness of what is going on in my body when I dance. A basic day for me starts with a ballet class in the morning to get the body ready and work on technique. Then I have rehearsal all day or rehearsal and a performance depending on the schedule. I don’t have a precise idea of what I want to do after my dancer’s career but I know I wish to travel a lot. I also like to coach professionals and maybe continue dancing somewhere else if I have an opportunity. I like different methods such as gyrotonic or Pilates that could be something to learn more about. I am also very curious about wellness and natural skincare.IMAGE GALLERY
