Ilaria Norsa and Giulia Tavani from Angostura have collaborated on an accessories collection inspired by nightlife, underground music, and tribal-punk culture
When Vogue asked jewelry designer Giulia Tavani from AnGostura what her next challenge would be, she responded, «A collaboration with Ilaria Norsa, a stylist and friend of mine based in Milan. We got together to create ten belts inspired by Nightlife and tribal punk, all of which were made by hand. The Inan project will be unveiled in Milan at the end of May 2020, and Paris, Ibiza and Rome».
«AnGostura stems from the desire to evoke tribe and ancient eras. The jewels are sculptural findings that reemerge from the past; they were owned and forgotten in deep waters and far away sands by ancient mysterious gods», describes jewelry designer Giulia Tavani the jewelry brand. Together with stylist Ilaria Norsa, Tavani has designed an accessories collection inspired by Nightlife, underground music, and tribal-punk culture, echoing Angostura’s aesthetic and exploring the unconventionality of accessories design.
The collection was unveiled in June 2020.
Guided by seduction and the mystic of a party night, the collection is being described with attributes such as tension, deep, night, nocturnal. The pieces are artisanal objects of desire, handmade in Italy, and dedicated to the late-night lovers. «Wanna dance. Wanna dance alone to make you look at me». The collection comprises jewel belts, embellished with studs, burnished brass chains, bespoke buckles, and signature logos, featuring detachable or secret pockets.
All pieces come in a variety of fits and sizes, premium quality leather or vegan recycled apple skin.
