The polo shirt in hemp velvet chenille combines a short-pile chenille fabric with a modern, relaxed fit. Made from a blend of hemp, linen, and cotton, the shirt is available in three natural-inspired colors: white, anthracite gray, and licorice green.

/ POLO SHIRT IN HEMP: DESIGN AND DETAILING

Crafted using a jacquard loom, the shirt features a unique three-dimensional texture achieved by alternating hemp warp threads with chenille yarn in the weft. This weaving method provides a ribbed, velvety finish.
The design focuses on an effortless yet refined silhouette, suitable for casual settings while showcasing meticulous craftsmanship.

/ SUSTAINABLE COLOR OPTIONS OF THE HEMP POLO

The velvet chenille polo shirt is available in its natural, white variant or in Lampoon’s two primary colors.
The anthracite gray color is obtained from a natural pigment, extracted from biochar, or vegetable charcoal. The dyeing process followed by Lampoon is patented and follows the fundamentals of green-economy and innovation. The fixative used is natural too. Despite the complete organic nature of the process, both the color and shades remain stable upon washing.
The mud green and slightly ochre color is obtained from licorice roots. The pigment, which is used for the polo shirt in hemp velvet chenille, is sourced in Italy as Lampoon is committed to a Made and Sourced in Italy philosophy. The licorice from which this pigment is obtained is grown in Southern Italy, Calabria.
