Experimenting with different formats, he always treated photography as an art form and distanced himself from fashion, only contributing to a handful of titles, including i-D and Purple. He has been an important collaborator since the beginning, shooting covers, artists’ portraits, and fashion stories — always pushing us to be more politically engaged. For this anniversary issue, he shot the American designer Rick Owens waking up in his Paris home, getting out of bed, taking a shower, and preparing for the day in his own clothes».
