Ten years ago I discovered the pool in the harbor of Monaco and I fell in love with the Helmut Newton vibe. Underlined by the surreal surroundings – oversized boats from Georgetown, very expensive cars and a place that seemed detached from the rest of the world.

Roman Goebel Roman Goebel is a Berlin native, born and raised in the German capital. From snapping pictures in the city’s graffiti scene as a little boy in the early Nineties to today’s high-profile magazine editorials, the self-taught photographer has managed to carve out his own path.
