The ordinary absurdity of mundane lives – Marivan Martins for Lampoon online

«This series is an ode to it. It is totally ordinary and totally cheesy. It is about trying to watch the royal wedding. It is about feeling special on your birthday» – Marivan Martins, Lampoon digital

Marivan Martins for Lampoon online edition

Titles: As the days passed by, we all saw ordinary as a friend

Life can easily become ordinary. We can try to spice it up, but eventually you’ll get used to that new hair or that new pair of pants you just bought. The secret of it all? To just accept it. This series is an ode to it. It is totally ordinary and totally cheesy. It is about trying to watch the royal wedding. It is about feeling special on your birthday. It is about personal memories and it is about everybody else’s at the same time. Hope you enjoy it and I’m here to listen to sad songs on the cold floor with you.

Marivan Martins

Brazilian photographer based in Paris. After trying many fields, he finally found himself in photography – in which he discovered the freedom and the

creativity he was constantly looking for. Always drawn to the daily, the ordinary, he leads his visual universe recreating and rewriting, in his own vision, his souvenirs, his childhood memories, his past and present life experiences.

Enzo Touzi

Stylist born in suburban Paris and a graduate of the Atelier Chardon Savard. He learned the ropes of the fashion industry by working with different brands before going freelance. Fed by the world surrounding him, he expands his daily life through his multicultural experiences and travels. His passion for fashion and his love for beautiful pictures all come from his first inspiration, the cinema.
