Iga Drobisz, Lampoon Digital – between surrealism, decadence and dreams
Dazzled by Tory, a model she met behind Lou de Betoly’s shrunken-rococo style runway shows, photographer Iga Drobisz builds a story to plumb her mysterious aura
Du Fu Moonlit Night and Tory. An Asian Poem
Title: Tory
«I met Tory in early 2020 at the backstage of the Lou de Betoly show. I was absolutely mesmerized by her looks. We planned to shoot shortly after but due to the global circumstances we were apart until now. Finding out she’s on her way back to Berlin after all this time was one of the best news to start this year. We finally made it happen and I couldn’t be more happy».
Moonlit Night, Du Fu
The moon shines in Fuzhou tonight,
In her chamber, she watches alone.
I pity my distant boy and girl-
They don’t know why she thinks of Chang’an.
Her cloud-like hair is sweet with mist,
Her jade arms cold in the clear moonlight.
When shall we lean in the empty window,
Together in brightness, and tears dried up?
