Title: Following her

The concept for this editorial starts from a visual and artistic research that led us to the movie Blow Up by the Italian director Michelangelo Antonioni, arousing interest in the team. The message is direct and clear: a thin line between reality and fiction, womanity and human fragility. Key concept that photographer Luigi Cianfarano and stylist Chiara Buccelli wanted to convey throughout the editorial for Lampoon online.

Through the eyes of a dissatisfied photographer, his day of torment and obsessions is told. Wandering the city in search of new ideas, he meets Iryna. Something changes in him. What he finds in her is a new possibility, to discover, experiment, survive. His apartment suddenly turns into his studio, where his private life merges with his work life. Uncertainty reigns, it is the artificial that tries to capture the natural by creating only spots of color.  An investigation of torment and womanity, human fragility and the intimate reflection of feelings.

Luigi Cianfarano, photographer 

Luigi Cianfarano was born in Frosinone and he is Milan based photographer, he discovered the passion for fashion photography during his years in London when he was hired as photo-reporter for the main newspaper. The first approach with fashion was when he went to cover an edition of the LFW in 2016, from then he started to work in the fashion industry. In 2020 he moved to Milan from London and since then works and lives there.

Chiara Buccelli, stylist

Fashion stylist raised in Cervia but based in Milan. Being creative means being able to express something innovative and inspirational to other people. What attracts me the most are the real stories, where beauty is synonymous with simplicity and spontaneity. I mostly find my inspiration in research from art, cinema and music.

Watch Rolex Day-Date Puzzle. Crafted from 18 ct yellow, white or Everose gold, this watch has adopted a new face. Rather than showing the day of the week, the arc-shaped aperture at 12 o’clock displays a inspirational words in – ‘Happy’, ‘Eternity’, ‘Gratitude’, ‘Peace’, ‘Faith’, ‘Love’ and ‘Hope’. The window at 3 o’clock reveals daily one of thirty-one emojis in place of the date.

Coats are from the Chanel and Louis Vuitton collection FW23. The shearling coat comes from the Loro Piana collection as well as the bra and shorts. Shoes are Jimmy Choo
