Lampoon Publishing House S.r.l. Società Benefit (“Lampoon”), as Data Controller, explains how and why we collect and use personal data from our Readers, in accordance with Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

We use your data to:
1. manage your subscription to our editorial newsletters;
2. provide and manage our relationship with you;
3. comply with legal and administrative obligations;

We do not use your data for profiling or automated decision-making.

Pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), Lampoon Publishing House S.r.l. Società Benefit (the “Data Controller”) provides its Readers with the following information regarding the processing of personal data.

The Data Controller may collect the following personal data:
– email address.
– identification data (name and surname, or company name where applicable);
Purpose of Processing
Personal data are processed for the following purposes:
1. management of the relationship with Readers, including newsletter subscriptions;
2. fulfillment of contractual or pre-contractual obligations;
3. compliance with legal and regulatory obligations;
4. organizational and administrative management;
5. protection of the Data Controller’s rights;
6. institutional and editorial communications.
No profiling activities or automated decision-making processes are carried out.
Processing Methods
Data are processed using electronic and/or paper-based tools, in accordance with principles of lawfulness, fairness, and transparency.
Appropriate technical and organizational measures are adopted to ensure data security.
Communication and Disclosure of Data
Personal data will not be disclosed, sold, or transferred to third parties, except where necessary for organizational, contractual, or legal purposes.
In such cases, data will be processed in compliance with applicable laws.
Personal data are not currently transferred outside the European Union. Any such transfer, if required, will be carried out in accordance with the GDPR.
Provision of Data
The provision of personal data is necessary for the purposes indicated above. Failure to provide such data may prevent the Data Controller from delivering the requested services.
Rights of the Data Subject
Readers may exercise their rights under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR, including the right to:
– access their personal data;
– request rectification or erasure;
– restrict or object to processing;
– receive their data in a structured, commonly used format;
– not be subject to automated decision-making.

Data Retention
Personal data are retained for the time necessary to fulfill the purposes indicated above and, in any case, in compliance with applicable legal obligations. In particular, data may be retained for up to 10 years for administrative and legal purposes.
Legal Basis
Personal data are processed for the performance of services requested by the Reader and for compliance with legal obligations. For these purposes, consent is not required.
