Lampoon Canapa – The Hemp Hub is an independent editorial archive investigating industrial hemp, its production systems and applications across textiles, design, architecture and manufacturing. Through original reporting, interviews, field research and direct collaborations with growers, artisans, makers, researchers and manufacturers, Lampoon examines the potential of hemp as an industrial resource, alongside the technical, economic and environmental conditions that determine its use.

The research extends from Italy to international markets, documenting how hemp is cultivated, processed and transformed into fibres, fabrics, biocomposites, building materials, paper and other products. It considers the relationship between agricultural production, industrial infrastructure, material performance and commercial viability, identifying both established practices and obstacles to wider adoption.
