The vest’s woven fabric is crafted from hemp textile strips, resembling denim in texture but maintaining the softness of hemp. These unsewn, solid strips are handwoven using a four-cross weave technique, resulting in a stable yet pliable fabric. The process requires precision to ensure the fabric remains linear and comfortable, creating a garment suitable for everyday wear despite its intricate craftsmanship.
The vest’s brass cufflinks double as elegant, wearable jewelry. Crafted in the Marche region of Italy, they consist of interlinked hexagons made from corrosion-resistant brass. These cufflinks are as durable as they are stylish, adding an exclusive touch to the velvet chenille shirt’s overall design.
