Beneath the Searing Sun, boredom in the hotel
In the scorching embrace of a relentless heatwave, a dilapidated hotel stands like a forgotten relic on the outskirts of Berlin. Its weathered façade speaks of past glories, now lost to the relentless passage of time. Within its faded walls, the whispers of forgotten memories mingle with the oppressive heat, weaving a tapestry of surrealism and decay.
We stage the heat as an excessive demand – a being at the mercy of it – melting into impotence. Not being able to stand up, not being able to continue, not being able to act.
