Lampoon SALIVA – Digital Edition
Lampoon SALIVA Issue 34 – Horny for Culture, Fall Winter 2026 is available as a digital PDF edition. The file corresponds to the print issue, preserving the original layout, sequencing, photography, editorial structure and visual rhythm of the magazine.
Not everything that comes out of a mouth is worth listening to. Saliva is. We produce it, swallow it, exchange it. We need it to eat, speak, taste, kiss, fuck. Ninety-nine percent water, slightly stringy, occasionally disgusting. Nobody is above it.
Lampoon Issue 34 investigates saliva as a biological substance, a sexual language, an artistic medium and a cultural irritant. Eighty million bacteria exchanged in a kiss. The prehistoric use of spit in painting. The ancient Japanese practice of fermenting rice through human saliva. The oral secretions of a venomous lizard that contributed to the development of GLP-1 drugs. The human body is less sophisticated, and much more interesting, than we like to believe.

Horny for Culture
Professor Camillo Ricordi, Stefano Boeri, Andrea Bariselli, Lea T, Maja Malou Lyse, Tomasz Kręcicki and Mohammad Reza Mortazavi enter the conversation. SALIVA moves through biology, desire, medicine, architecture, sound, touch and contamination.
Photography by Maisie Cousins, Olivia Malone, Ferry van der Nat, Alba Yruela, Sally Moore, Spyros Rennt and others explores viscosity, friction, proximity and the uncomfortable intelligence of bodies. Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Gucci, Fendi Couture, Cartier, Moncler and Brunello Cucinelli contribute to a visual investigation of fashion and its relationship with physical desire. Clothing becomes a surface. The mouth becomes an opening. Culture gets wet.
SALIVA begins with what the body produces before thought. Spit lubricates language, digestion, taste and erotic contact. It is biological matter, but also a social signal. It enters religion, shame, seduction, disgust and care. Lampoon Issue 34 studies saliva as a threshold: between the inside and outside of the body, between self and other, between contamination and intimacy. The issue follows oral matter through science, medicine, ancient practices, contemporary sexuality, visual art and fashion imagery.
SALIVA SILICA – The Glass Edit
SALIVA SILICA – The Glass Edit introduces a different kind of transparency. Glass, an ancient material that can be melted, blown, broken and remade, becomes the subject of an investigation spanning fashion, architecture and design.
Bottega Veneta, Hermès, Coperni, Ronan Bouroullec and Martino Gamper appear inside a study of silica, fragility, reflection and transformation. Glass is not treated as a neutral surface, but as a material with memory: liquid, mineral, domestic, industrial, erotic in its own cold way.
Digital Format
The digital edition gives access to Lampoon Issue 34 in PDF format. It is conceived for readers who want to download and read the full issue without receiving the physical magazine.
The PDF edition preserves the complete editorial content of SALIVA: features, interviews, fashion stories, photography, visual essays and design investigations.
