Titanium Shields Necklace – design Lampoon – handcrafted in Italy

The Titanium Shields Necklace is a one-of-one collectible piece designed by Lampoon. Produced as a unique edition, only one single necklace has been produced. Conceived as both a wearable object and a design prototype, it combines contemporary jewelry with engineering through a modular titanium construction.

The necklace is composed of 164 shield-shaped titanium elements connected by square links engineered to maximize flexibility while maintaining structural continuity. Measuring approximately 44–46 cm, the articulated structure naturally adapts to the contours of the neck while preserving the geometry of the composition. Each joint has been developed to ensure fluid movement across the entire necklace, allowing the individual modules to move as a continuous system.

Handcrafted in Italy, the Titanium Shields Necklace represents Lampoon’s research into material innovation, precision manufacturing, and collectible design. 

The unique piece is presented in a custom-designed wooden box with a hemp-lined interior, developed exclusively for the Titanium Shields Necklace. Conceived as an extension of the project, the box functions as a design object in its own right. Its proportions are engineered to accommodate the geometry of the necklace without altering the articulation of its titanium modules, while the natural hemp lining provides a protective surface for storage. 

Designed for long-term preservation, the box completes the collectible nature of the edition, becoming an integral component of the work and attention to detail by Lampoon.
