PHOTOGRAPHING THE HUMAN FORM, ARCELLONI EXPLORES ITS SIMILARITIES, HARMONY AND BELONGING WITH NATURE. THE PHOTOGRAPHS OF TREES AND LAND, ALONGSIDE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE MALE BODY, PRESENTS «PARALLELS AND RESEMBLANCES BETWEEN RESPECTIVE PATTERNS AND SHAPES». PLACING THE IMAGES OPPOSITE EACH OTHER, SHE DEPICTS MATCHING COLOR WAYS, AS WELL AS SIMILARITIES IN TEXTURES AND LINES BETWEEN THE LANDSCAPES AND FIGURES. INSPIRED BY THE WORK OF MAN RAY AND VARIOUS OTHER ARTISTS INVOLVED IN THE SURREALIST MOVEMENT, ARCELLONI USES SURREALISM AS THE BACKGROUND OF INSPIRATION BEHIND HER WORK, WHILE EXPLORING THE PHYSIQUES NATURAL ANGLES AND PROPORTIONS. ARCELLONI AIMS TO TAKE HER AUDIENCE ON A VISUAL JOURNEY, SHIFTING PERSPECTIVES THROUGH THE LENS. IN SIMILARITY TO HER SHOOT FOR LAMPOON, THIS EXHIBITION STUDIES THE MALE BODY. INCREDIBLY CLOSE PRESENTS ITSELF «AS THE ONLY PLACE FOR DISCOVERY IN A HISTORICAL MOMENT THAT FORBIDS THE NOVELTY OF UNEXPLORED PLACES». IN 2018, ARCELLONI ALSO SHOWCASED HER WORK IN THE EXHIBITION ITALIAN PANORAMA, AT ARMANI SILOS IN MILAN. ITALIAN PANORAMA WAS PART OF A COLLABORATIVE GROUP PROJECT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE PHOTO VOGUE FESTIVAL, DISPLAYING ARCELLONI’S ARTWORK AMONG OTHER YOUNG PHOTOGRAPHERS. WITHIN THIS EXHIBITION ARCELLONI WAS INCLUDED AS BEING ONE OF THE STAND OUT PHOTOGRAPHERS IN THE GLOBAL PHOTOGRAPHY SCENE. HER FOCUS ON THE BLUR BETWEEN FASHION AND ARTISTIC GENRES OF PHOTOGRAPHY INFLUENCE ARCELLONI’S CONTEMPORARY VERSION OF DEPICTING THE BODY.
