No Shoes Please: Bram van Dijk’s editorial for Lampoon digital edition

Muscles, cigarettes, old women, mustaches, queer brides, chickens, and other props. Bram van Dijk and the Delusion Theorem – the photographer offers a rebus, to the viewer lies the solution

Bram van Dijk – for Lampoon digital edition

Title: No Shoes Please

For ‘No Shoes Please’ Bram brings the characters inspired by his street photography into the stylized setting of an inflatable jumping castle. The result is a project where reality and imagination are merged into a playful series of absurd photos.

Bram van Dijk – Nahmlos, photographer based in Paris

Nahmlos, Dutch filmmaker and photographer based in Paris. Driven by a curiosity for authentic, genuine characters, he uses his street photography as a way to capture people and their surrounding environments. By doing so, he allows himself and others to look at these otherwise disappearing moments for an extended period of time. Sometimes these photos can form the starting point for his projects, drawing inspiration from authentic real-life situations, like in his short film Gallivant.
